Author Guidelines

Instruction to Authors is designed to standardize manuscript format and facilitate publication in Regula Fidei: Journal of Christian Religious Education. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English. Indonesian manuscripts must follow EYD rules, while English manuscripts must follow standard English grammar.

Manuscript Format:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

  • Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm)

  • Margin: top 3 cm, bottom 3 cm, left 2 cm, right 2 cm

  • Columns: 2 columns with 1 cm spacing

  • Length: ±5,000–12,000 words including footnotes and appendices

  • Paragraphs: single spacing

Title: Maximum 15 words, informative, highlighting the phenomenon/object studied.
Author Name: Full name under the title without academic degrees.
Abstract: Written in Indonesian and English, Times New Roman 11 pt, italic, single spacing; maximum 250 words (ID) and 150 words (EN). Must not contain references, mathematical equations, or uncommon abbreviations.
Keywords: 3–5 words, may include methods, phenomena, research objects, or applications.

  • INTRODUCTION (Bold, Center, 12 pt)

  • Subheading 1 (Bold, Center, 12 pt)

  • Subheading 2 (Regular, Center, 12 pt)

  • Subheading 3 (Regular, Center, 12 pt)

  • CONCLUSION (Bold, Center, 12 pt)

Bibliography: Follow citation order. 80% primary sources must be recent. Examples:

  • Journal: Parlindungan Pardede. Berpikir Kritis dan Kreatif dalam Pendidikan Kristen, Jurnal Regula Fidei, 2(1), 50-55, 2015.

  • Book: Peterson, A. Gilbert. The Christian Education of Adults, Chicago: Moody Press, 1985.

  • Proceedings: William, D. The Study of Relationship Thought Theological Paul And Mark of Penance, Proceeding of International Symposium on Study The Book of Roma, 153-158, Medan: Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian, STTBM, 2013.

Book Review: 500–1000 words, include bibliographic information at the beginning.

Manuscript Submission:
All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will receive feedback from reviewers through the editor. Accepted manuscripts are evaluated by the Editorial Board, which has the authority to edit, return for revision, or reject manuscripts. Evaluation time is approximately 3 months. Reviews are conducted objectively by expert reviewers.
